The Kunsthalle Mannheim, opened as a museum in 1909, is one of the first civic collections of modern art in the world. The museum's profile is characterized by epochal key works of painting from Édouard Manet to Francis Bacon as well as an outstanding collection of sculpture from modernism to contemporary art. In addition to outstanding art, visitors to the Kunsthalle Mannheim can look forward to impressive architecture: the historically evolved complex on Mannheim's most beautiful square includes Herman Billing's Art Nouveau building from 1907 and the Hector building by Hamburg architects gmp, which was completed in 2017. But as a city within a city, the Kunsthalle offers much more: with ProgrammPlus, the Kunsthalle has created special event formats that revive the motto "Art for All" of founding director Fritz Wichert in order to take a fresh look at our present through art. From lively discussions to art history lectures, classical chamber concerts, performances and scientific symposia, there is something for everyone.

Our accommodation has its own underground car park with an innovative lifting platform system at Kepler-Straße 22-24. Please note that vehicles must not be higher than 1.70 meters and should not be lowered. The parking fee is 15 euros for the first day and 12 euros from the second day. Alternatively, there is a public parking garage across the street, which is also suitable for larger vehicles up to a height of 2 meters, at a daily rate of 18.40 euros.
We accept payment by EC card, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and cash.
Pets are not allowed in our hotel.
Laundry cleaning is possible from Monday to Friday.
Laundry is handed in by 08.30 in the morning and returned the same day in the evening.
Please note that we are a non-smoking hotel. Cigarette smoking is permitted in the garden and beer garden.
We look forward to welcoming our youngest guests, who sleep in their parents' bed free of charge up to the age of 12 (without breakfast).
Extra beds are not possible in all categories. Family rooms and rooms with connecting doors are of course available.
